The essentials
These are FreeParchís’s two-dice table rules. Parchís and Parcheesi have other regional variations.
Try a gameUse a 5 to leave home; a dice total of 5 also counts. Use the remaining dice separately or, when legal, together. The first player to finish all four pawns takes first place.
Capture an opponent to send it home and earn an immediate 20-space move. CHILL squares protect against capture, except when a pawn exits home. Two friendly pawns form a blockade nobody can pass or land on.
Doubles earn another roll and force a movable blockade to open first. Three consecutive doubles end the turn and send your most recently moved unfinished pawn home.
Land exactly in the center to finish a pawn and earn an immediate 10-space move. Spend each bonus on any one pawn with a legal path. Impossible bonuses expire; remaining dice stay available.
