A little friendly competition

Pick Easy, Medium, or Hard bots. Mix computers and human seats at a table for two, three, or four.

Every move counts

Split your dice, capture a rival, or hold a blockade. Legal moves appear right on your pawns—choose the number to play.

A helping hand, if you want it

Trajectory preview is off by default. Enable it before a match to see possible paths; the setting applies to the whole table.

The essentials

Race to the center.

These are FreeParchís’s two-dice table rules. Parchís and Parcheesi have other regional variations.

Try a game

  1. Bring your four pawns home

    Use a 5 to leave home; a dice total of 5 also counts. Use the remaining dice separately or, when legal, together. The first player to finish all four pawns takes first place.

  2. Capture, protect, or block

    Capture an opponent to send it home and earn an immediate 20-space move. CHILL squares protect against capture, except when a pawn exits home. Two friendly pawns form a blockade nobody can pass or land on.

  3. Doubles keep things interesting

    Doubles earn another roll and force a movable blockade to open first. Three consecutive doubles end the turn and send your most recently moved unfinished pawn home.

  4. Finish with an exact move

    Land exactly in the center to finish a pawn and earn an immediate 10-space move. Spend each bonus on any one pawn with a legal path. Impossible bonuses expire; remaining dice stay available.

Add FreeParchís to your home screen.

Open the game first, then use your browser’s install option. No app store download required.

Android & desktop

Open the game in a compatible browser such as Chrome. Choose Install app or Add to Home screen from the browser menu. The wording depends on your browser.

iPhone & iPad

Open the game in Safari. Tap Share → Add to Home Screen. If offered, enable Open as Web App, then tap Add.

Take the bots offline

Let the game finish loading online before going offline. Cached game files let you start local matches without a connection. Clearing site data or browser storage eviction removes the offline copy.

Open the game

Your name is saved on this device. Matches are not saved when you close or reload the game.

Planned

Different screens. Same table.

Private rooms with a code and online play with friends are planned. For now, all players share one device or play against bots. Native Android and iOS apps may follow.
